Who we are

A national home for the game.

The Maldives Golf Association was founded on 24 July 2024 by Hussain Afeef, Ahmed Nazeer and Lars Petre, and is registered with the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation.

We exist to foster local talent, open the game to players of every background, and make golf part of what the Maldives offers the world — on the course and in the economy around it.
